Samsung has unveiled its latest lineup of budget-friendly Galaxy A-series smartphones, featuring enhanced AI capabilities and modest spec bumps. The Galaxy A56, A36, and A26 focus on AI-powered image editing tools and offer slight improvements in screen size and battery life.

All three devices now boast a 6.7-inch full HD Plus display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a slight increase from the previous generation’s screen sizes. The Galaxy A56 features a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a 5MP macro camera. It also includes a 12MP front-facing camera.

Samsung is emphasizing the “awesome intelligence” of these devices, highlighting new AI-powered image editing features like Best Face, which allows users to swap facial expressions in motion photos. The phones also include an improved object removal tool, photo filters, and Google’s Circle to Search functionality.

The Galaxy A56 is powered by an upgraded Exynos 1580 chip, while the A36 utilizes a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chip. All three models have a 5,000 mAh battery, but only the A56 and A36 support 45W fast charging. Samsung has also extended IP67 dust and water resistance to the A26.
The Galaxy A56 is priced at $499. The A36 will be available on March 26th for $399, and the A26 will launch on March 28th for $299.
