Ring has announced updates to its home security offerings in the UAE, introducing 2K video resolution to its Floodlight Cam Wired Pro and Spotlight Cam Pro. This upgrade delivers sharper images and enhanced clarity, providing users with a more detailed view of their surroundings.
The move to 2K resolution represents a significant improvement in Ring’s video capabilities. Users can now expect crisper images with greater detail and texture, allowing for better identification of people and objects captured by the cameras. This enhancement is available to both new and existing customers, with current users able to upgrade their devices to 2K resolution at no extra cost through the Ring app.
In addition to the 2K video upgrade, Ring has also introduced Vehicle Detection to its Smart Alerts feature. Available to customers with a Ring Protect subscription plan, this feature notifies users when a vehicle is detected within the camera’s field of view. This functionality is currently supported on a range of Ring doorbells and cameras, including the Floodlight Cam Wired Pro, Spotlight Cam Pro, and various indoor and doorbell models.

Ring emphasizes its commitment to delivering a superior visual experience through Ring Vision. This approach combines software, hardware, and internal expertise to optimize color balance, contrast, and motion smoothing, ensuring users see every detail clearly.
These updates underscore Ring’s dedication to providing comprehensive home security solutions for customers in the UAE. By offering higher resolution video and more intelligent alerts, Ring aims to empower users with the tools they need to protect their homes and loved ones effectively.
