OnePlus has officially unveiled its latest flagship phone, the OnePlus 13, in China. This high-performance device boasts the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, a substantial 6000mAh battery, and a triple camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor.
The OnePlus 13 features a redesigned chassis with a flatter form factor, reminiscent of recent iPhone models. The phone is available in three colors: black, white, and a striking new blue. The black and white versions sport a matte glass back, while the blue variant features a faux leather finish. A notable design element is the standalone “Oreo-style” camera assembly, which is no longer integrated into the frame as in previous models. The Hasselblad logo has also been repositioned and now sits above the camera strip. The signature OnePlus alert slider remains a key feature.
The front of the device is dominated by a 6.82-inch 2K (1440p) BOE LTPO AMOLED display. This display offers a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals and a peak HDR brightness of 4500 nits, ensuring excellent visibility even in bright conditions. Support for Dolby Vision content enhances the viewing experience.
Under the hood, the OnePlus 13 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, placing it among a select group of high-performance smartphones. The phone is available with up to a massive 24GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage, ensuring smooth multitasking and ample space for apps and media. The device runs on Oppo’s ColorOS 15, based on Android 15.
The camera system on the OnePlus 13 consists of a triple camera setup. The primary sensor is a 50-megapixel LYT-808 with an f/1.6 optically stabilized lens. This is complemented by a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 50-megapixel 3x telephoto lens with OIS, offering versatility for various photography scenarios. For selfies, the phone has a 32MP front-facing camera.
The OnePlus 13 packs a large 6000mAh battery to support its powerful hardware and large display. It offers fast charging capabilities with 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. An ultrasonic fingerprint sensor provides secure biometric authentication.
The OnePlus 13 is initially launching in China with prices starting at CNY 4,499 (approximately Rs 53,200) for the 12GB/256GB variant. Higher-end configurations with more RAM and storage are also available. A global release is expected to follow, though the exact timeline remains uncertain.
