Samsung has officially announced the commencement of its One UI 7 update rollout, based on Android 15, scheduled to begin on April 7, 2025. The company confirmed the release date in an official newsroom post, stating that the One UI 7 update will initially be available for select devices, with a broader rollout to follow in the subsequent weeks. A list of eligible Galaxy devices for the One UI 7 update has been provided, including:
- Galaxy S24 series (S24, S24+, S24 Ultra, S24 FE)
- Galaxy S23 series (S23, S23+, S23 Ultra, S23 FE)
- Galaxy Z Fold series (Z Fold6, Z Fold5)
- Galaxy Z Flip series (Z Flip6, Z Flip5)
- Galaxy Tab S series (Tab S10+, Tab S10 Ultra, Tab S9, Tab S9+, Tab S9 Ultra)
The initial wave of updates will prioritize the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6, and Galaxy Z Flip6. Older Galaxy models will receive the update progressively.
All eligible Galaxy devices will gain access to the core One UI 7 features, such as the Now Bar, Writing Assist, Drawing Assist, AI Select, new icons, and a refreshed user interface. However, the Audio Eraser feature will be exclusive to the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy Z Fold6, Z Flip6, and Galaxy Tab S10 series.
