Nintendo’s quirky Alarmo clock hits stores in March

Nintendo is set to release its unique sleep-tracking alarm clock, the Alarmo, to a wider audience in March. Originally exclusive to Nintendo Switch Online subscribers, the Alarmo will soon be available at select retailers.

The Alarmo combines the charm of Nintendo characters with basic sleep-tracking functionality. Its compact circular screen displays scenes and music from popular Nintendo games, while a motion sensor detects movement, allowing users to dismiss alarms with a wave. The Alarmo also tracks time spent in bed and sleep activity.

Despite not being the highly anticipated Switch 2, the Alarmo’s initial announcement in October generated considerable buzz. Its quirky design and playful features embody Nintendo’s unique approach to gaming and entertainment.

While the Alarmo will be more widely available, Nintendo has indicated that stock may be limited. In the UK and Ireland, it will continue to be sold exclusively through the My Nintendo Store.
