Sony has introduced its latest BRAVIA Theatre home audio line-up for 2025, featuring a range of soundbars, home theatre systems, and wireless speakers designed to elevate at-home entertainment. The new products are tailored for users looking to replicate a cinematic sound experience in their living rooms with support for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X formats.
Leading the line-up is the BRAVIA Theatre Bar 6, a 3.1.2 channel Dolby Atmos soundbar paired with a wireless subwoofer. It includes dedicated up-firing speakers and Sony’s proprietary Vertical Surround Engine and S-Force PRO Front Surround to simulate overhead and directional audio effects. For users who watch content with stereo audio, the system also features an upmixer to create a 3D-like experience, enhancing immersion beyond surround formats. A centre channel improves dialogue clarity, and integration with compatible BRAVIA TVs enables AI-powered Voice Zoom 3, which adjusts voice levels in real-time.

Sony also introduced the BRAVIA Theatre System 6, a 5.1 channel home cinema system delivering 1000W of audio power. This setup includes a main soundbar, rear speakers, and a subwoofer, supporting Dolby Atmos and advanced surround processing. The Multi Stereo mode allows stereo signals to be expanded to rear channels, filling the room with balanced, directional sound. As with the Bar 6, the system includes Voice Zoom 3 to help distinguish dialogue without affecting background sound.

For users looking to expand their setup, the BRAVIA Theatre Rear 8 speakers and BRAVIA Theatre Sub 7 offer wireless connectivity to compatible soundbars. The Rear 8 speakers support Sony’s 360 Spatial Sound Mapping technology, creating a more localized surround experience, while the Sub 7 enhances low-end response with a slim profile suited for flexible placement.

These devices are optimized to work with Sony’s BRAVIA TVs and can be controlled using the BRAVIA Connect app, which allows easy setup, volume adjustment, and sound mode selection through a smartphone. Integration with TV remote controls further simplifies operation through the on-screen Quick Settings menu.

The full BRAVIA Theatre home audio line-up is expected to appeal to home cinema enthusiasts who want immersive, high-quality sound with minimal setup complexity.
