Security is a prominent feature of the Copilot+ PCs. Microsoft has incorporated its Pluton security processor, enabled by default, to protect sensitive data. Pluton, a chip-to-cloud security technology, is designed to ensure Zero Trust principles at the hardware level, safeguarding passwords, user identities, and encryption keys.
In addition to the new PCs, Microsoft has introduced the Surface USB4 Dock, which aims to improve connectivity with faster data transfer speeds and support for multiple high-resolution displays. Enhancements to Microsoft Teams Rooms on Surface Hub 3 are intended to streamline collaboration in meeting environments. The Security Copilot in the Surface Management Portal offers IT administrators tools for managing and securing Surface devices.

The Surface Laptop for Business with Intel Core Ultra processors (Series 2) is scheduled for delivery in the Middle East from March 4, 2025, and the Surface Pro for Business from March 24, 2025. Pre-orders are currently available.
This new Surface lineup reflects Microsoft’s focus on providing hardware that integrates with its software and AI initiatives. The inclusion of Intel’s latest processors and the emphasis on security are designed to address the needs of modern professionals. The addition of the new dock and the Teams room enhancement shows that Microsoft is trying to create an ecosystem of products.
