Lenovo has showcased two groundbreaking laptop concepts at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025: the ThinkBook “codename Flip” AI PC Concept and the Yoga Solar PC Concept.
ThinkBook Flip: Foldable Display for Versatile Use
The ThinkBook Flip features a unique outward-folding display, offering multiple configurations for different use cases. It can function as a tablet, a traditional 13-inch laptop, or a larger display for shared viewing.
When unfolded, the ThinkBook Flip boasts an expansive 18.1-inch OLED screen, supported by an exterior dock for added stability. This innovative design pushes the boundaries of foldable laptop technology, offering a versatile and immersive user experience.

Yoga Solar PC: Sustainable Charging with Solar Power
The Yoga Solar PC Concept introduces a sustainable approach to laptop charging with its integrated solar panel. The solar cell boasts an impressive energy conversion rate of over 24%, allowing for up to one hour of video playback after just 20 minutes of direct sunlight exposure.
The solar panel can generate power even in low-light conditions, providing a continuous trickle charge to extend battery life. Despite this innovative feature, the Yoga Solar PC maintains a slim 15mm profile and weighs only 1.22kg, ensuring portability.

These concepts highlight Lenovo’s commitment to innovation and exploration in the laptop space. While it remains to be seen whether these concepts will become commercially available products, they offer a glimpse into the future of laptop design and functionality.
