A recent leak suggests that the upcoming iPhone SE 4 may feature a camera design reminiscent of the iPhone 7 Plus. An image of a purported iPhone SE 4 case, shared by tipster Sonny Dickson, reveals a horizontal cutout for a dual-camera setup, similar to the layout found on the older iPhone model.
While previous rumors indicated that the iPhone SE 4 would adopt the iPhone 14’s design, this leak suggests that the camera system may differ. Instead of the iPhone 14’s ultrawide camera, the SE 4 is rumored to include a 48MP primary sensor, similar to the one found in the iPhone 15 series.

The leaked case image also reinforces previous reports that the iPhone SE 4 will ditch the Touch ID home button in favor of Face ID, likely featuring Apple’s “bathtub notch.” Other rumored specifications include a 6.1-inch OLED display, an aluminum alloy frame, and a glass front and back.
To maintain a competitive price point, Apple may utilize older components from previous iPhone models, such as the iPhone 13 and 14. Despite this, the iPhone SE 4 is rumored to be more powerful than the standard iPhone 15 and 15 Plus, potentially supporting Apple’s latest AI features.
The leaked case image also indicates the presence of a traditional mute switch instead of the Action button found on the iPhone 15 Pro models.
Potential Price and Positioning
The iPhone SE 4 is expected to be priced below $500, positioning it as a compelling option in the mid-range smartphone market. If the rumors hold true, the iPhone SE 4 could offer a compelling combination of design, features, and performance at an attractive price point.
