HONOR has partnered with Porsche Design for the third time to create the PORSCHE DESIGN HONOR Magic7 RSR, a new ultra-premium flagship smartphone. Unveiled at LEAP 2025 in Riyadh, the device blends high-end automotive design with advanced AI technology, aiming to set a new standard in the luxury smartphone market.
The Magic7 RSR’s design draws inspiration from Porsche’s iconic sports cars. Following the design philosophy of “as little design as possible, as much design as necessary,” the phone features a symmetrical camera module integrated with design cues from the latest Porsche models. A central ridge, reminiscent of a car’s hood, enhances both aesthetics and grip. The hexagonal camera module echoes high-performance car components, while the overall shape and 3D glass evoke the lines of a Porsche windshield.
Beyond its looks, the Magic7 RSR focuses on user experience through AI-driven features. MagicOS 9.0, HONOR’s latest operating system, offers intelligent tools for everyday tasks, entertainment, communication, and professional use. Magic Portal provides quick access to information and services, while AI-powered features within HONOR Notes, like Real-time Transcript and AI Summary, aim to boost productivity. AI Eraser and AI Cutout enhance photo editing, and the Google Gemini app comes pre-installed, offering users an AI assistant for various tasks.
The Magic7 RSR’s camera system utilizes the AI HONOR Image Engine, combining on-device and cloud processing for improved image capture and editing. AI-powered tools enhance portraits, zoom capabilities, and motion capture. The triple rear camera setup includes a 50MP Super Dynamic Falcon Main Camera, a 200MP Ultra-sensitive Telephoto Camera, and a 50MP Wide Camera. A 1/1.4″ telephoto sensor and a f/1.88 aperture, combined with a LiDAR Matrix Autofocus System, aim to provide professional-level photography capabilities.
The device also prioritizes eye comfort with the Natural Light HONOR AI Eye Comfort Display, certified by TÜV Rheinland for various eye-care standards. Durability is addressed with the HONOR Anti-scratch NanoCrystal Shield and IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance ratings. The Magic7 RSR supports 100W wired and 80W wireless HONOR SuperCharge, and a 5850mAh Third-generation Silicon-carbon Battery.
Performance is driven by the Snapdragon® 8 Elite Mobile Platform, Qualcomm’s top-tier mobile processor. The HONOR Surround Subwoofer, a stereo speaker system, enhances the audio experience. The user interface incorporates design elements inspired by sports cars, and a premium phone case adds extra protection.
The PORSCHE DESIGN HONOR Magic7 RSR is available in two Porsche exterior colors: Agate Grey and the new Provence. Consumers in the UAE can subscribe online to be among the first to own the device.
