While initially available only to Advanced subscribers, Google has fulfilled its promise of expanding Gemini Live’s reach.Though currently limited to Android and English language, Google assures iOS compatibility and additional language support are on the horizon.
In a delightful twist, Gemini Live now boasts 10 distinct voices, allowing users to personalize their interactions with tones ranging from calm and soothing to energetic and engaging. These voices can be easily accessed and switched within the Gemini app settings.
To get started, Android users simply need to open the Gemini mobile app and tap the Live icon. For first-time users, on-screen instructions will guide the initial setup. Once live, feel free to converse naturally, pausing or ending the conversation with a simple tap or voice command.
While some features like extensions for seamless app integration are still in development, Google’s dedication to enhancing Gemini Live is evident. As the AI assistant continues to evolve, expect a more integrated and user-friendly experience in the near future.
