CAFU, the pioneering on-demand fuel delivery service, is expanding its offerings to include electric vehicle (EV) charging, further solidifying its commitment to green mobility in the UAE. This new service will provide EV drivers with convenient and accessible charging solutions, supporting the nation’s transition towards sustainable transportation.
CAFU will offer two EV charging options:
- Mobile Premium On-Demand Charging: Similar to its fuel delivery model, CAFU will dispatch a charging unit to the customer’s location.
- Mobile Pop-Up Self-Service Charging: Trailer-based charging stations will be deployed at strategic locations.
Both options will utilize fast-charging technology and be compatible with all EV makes and models, ensuring a seamless experience for users.
This initiative aligns with the UAE’s ambition to promote sustainable transport and reduce carbon emissions. By enhancing EV charging accessibility, CAFU aims to encourage wider adoption of electric vehicles and contribute to a greener future.
CAFU’s EV charging service will leverage the same AI-driven technology and IoT-enabled platform used for its fuel delivery service. This ensures efficient dispatch, optimized routing, and a seamless user experience through the CAFU app.
The service will cater to both individual EV owners and businesses operating electric fleets. For fleet operators, this solution addresses challenges associated with high installation costs and long lead times for charging infrastructure at their depots.
CAFU has also partnered with Audi to become the official UAE charging partner for the brand starting in 2025. This collaboration will provide Audi drivers with convenient access to CAFU’s mobile charging solutions, further enhancing the EV ownership experience.
The adoption of EVs in the UAE is steadily increasing, driven by government initiatives and a growing awareness of environmental concerns. CAFU’s EV charging service aims to meet the rising demand for charging infrastructure, particularly for fast chargers, which often experience congestion during peak hours.
CAFU already offers this service in Canada.
