Beats has officially entered the charging accessory space with the release of new USB-C and Lightning cables, now available to order through Apple.com. The product launch includes a variety of cable types and a splash of color, offering users an option to match their charging gear with their personal style.
The new Beats Cables come in four color options: Rapid Red, Nitro Navy, Surge Stone, and Bolt Black. Each cable features a woven fabric exterior for added durability and resistance to fraying, a design aimed at everyday wear and tear.

Buyers can choose between two lengths: 1.5 meters (approximately 5 feet) and a much shorter 0.2 meters (about 8 inches). The longer cables are available individually or in two-packs, while the shorter ones are sold individually. All individual cables are priced at $19, and the 1.5-meter two-pack is $35—with no price difference based on length.
There are three connector combinations available:
- USB-C to USB-C: Supports charging, data transfer (USB 2.0 speeds), CarPlay, syncing, and even audio, including lossless playback when used with compatible Beats headphones or Apple’s AirPods Max. Fast charging is supported up to 60W.
- USB-A to USB-C: Suitable for older USB ports, supporting basic charging, syncing, and CarPlay. Fast charging is limited to 15W on select Apple devices.
- USB-C to Lightning: Designed for iPhones and iPads with Lightning ports, this version enables fast charging, syncing, and CarPlay functionality.
It’s worth noting that color availability depends on the cable type and length. The 1.5-meter USB-C to USB-C version is offered in all four colors, while USB-C to Lightning at the same length isn’t available in Nitro Navy. The compact 0.2-meter cables are only sold in Bolt Black.

This release comes as more tech brands move away from bundling cables with wireless earbuds and portable speakers. For example, Beats recently stopped including charging cables with some of its audio products, following a trend seen across the industry. The decision is in part a sustainability measure, recognizing that many users already own compatible cables.
While Beats’ cables are priced higher than many alternatives on the market, especially those found on platforms like Amazon, some consumers may opt for the brand’s aesthetic appeal, material quality, and guaranteed compatibility with Apple and Beats devices.
The new Beats charging cables are available now on Apple.com, with retail availability starting April 17.
