The Middle East Film & Comic Con (MEFCC) 2025 has expanded its celebrity lineup, confirming appearances by Grant Gustin and Emily Rudd. The event, scheduled to take place at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi, will feature the two actors alongside previously announced guests.
Grant Gustin, known for his role as Barry Allen/The Flash in the CW series “The Flash,” will attend MEFCC on April 19th and 20th. Gustin’s portrayal of the DC Comics character has spanned multiple seasons, making him a recognizable figure among comic book fans. His previous work includes roles in “Glee,” “Supergirl,” “Arrow,” and “90210.”
Emily Rudd, who played Nami in the live-action adaptation of “One Piece” on Netflix, will also be present at MEFCC.“One Piece” achieved significant viewership upon its release, and Rudd’s involvement in the series has garnered attention. Her filmography includes appearances in the “Fear Street” trilogy, “Moonshot,” “The Romanoffs,” “Dynasty,” and “Hunters.”
Gustin and Rudd join a lineup that includes Ian McDiarmid (Palpatine in “Star Wars”), Charlie Cox (“Daredevil”), Vincent D’Onofrio, Japanese voice actors Kotono Mitsuishi, Daiki Yamashita, Hideo Ishikawa, Kentaro Ito, and English voice actor Colleen O’Shaughness.
MEFCC 2025 will offer attendees opportunities to participate in Q&A panels, meet-and-greet sessions, and autograph signings. The event will also feature cosplay competitions, gaming tournaments, and displays of collectibles.
