Samsung is reportedly adding two new sizes to its Galaxy Ring lineup, catering to users with larger fingers. The current Galaxy Ring, a health-tracking wearable device, is available in sizes 5 to 13. The addition of sizes 14 and 15 aims to increase accessibility and inclusivity.
The new sizes were recently discovered on Samsung’s official support pages in various countries, with model numbers SM-Q514 and SM-Q515. These model numbers have also been spotted in a Samsung User Guide and on the Nemko platform, further confirming their existence.
There is speculation that the new sizes may offer improved battery life, potentially accommodating larger batteries for extended use. The new sizes are expected to retain the existing health-tracking features, such as heart rate monitoring, sleep stage analysis, and activity tracking.
While an official launch date has not been announced, rumors suggest that Samsung may unveil the new sizes during its Galaxy Unpacked event in January 2025, possibly alongside the Galaxy Ring 2.
