Opera has partnered with Spotify to bring seamless music streaming to its Opera One browser. The latest R2 update introduces a revamped Music Player with Spotify as the default streaming service, allowing users to easily access their favorite music, podcasts, and audiobooks while browsing the web.
The integrated Spotify player is located in the sidebar of Opera One and can be detached and moved around the screen as a floating window. This allows users to control their music without interrupting their browsing flow. Additionally, Spotify audio automatically pauses during meetings or calls and resumes afterward.
To celebrate the partnership, Opera is offering up to three free months of Spotify Premium to users in select countries, including the US, UK, Brazil, India, and several others.
