Google has introduced a new feature called “Saved Info” for its Gemini AI model, allowing users to personalize their interactions and receive more relevant responses. With “Saved Info,” Gemini can remember user preferences, key details about their work, and even personal information like dietary restrictions.
This feature aims to enhance the helpfulness of Gemini by tailoring its responses to individual needs. Users no longer have to repeatedly provide the same information, as Gemini can now store and recall these details.
Users can ask Gemini to remember information using prompts like “Remember,” “Keep in mind,” or “Always provide.” This can include preferences for language, communication style, or specific details relevant to their work or personal life.
Privacy is also a key consideration. Users have full control over the information Gemini stores, with the ability to view, edit, or delete any saved data.
The “Saved Info” feature is currently rolling out to Gemini Advanced users in English through the Google One AI Premium plan. It’s the latest in a series of updates aimed at improving the Gemini experience, including recent enhancements for larger devices and foldables.
