Xiaomi launched their latest mid-range smartphones and wearables, featuring the Redmi Note 14 series, the POCO X7 series, the Redmi Watch 5, and the Redmi Buds 6.
Redmi Note 14 Series
The Redmi Note 14 series comprises three models: the Note 14 Pro+ 5G, Note 14 Pro 5G, and Note 14. These phones offer a compelling combination of features and performance.
The Note 14 Pro+ 5G stands out with its 200MP main camera, powered by the Samsung HP3 sensor, and optical zoom capabilities. It also boasts 120W fast charging, although a charger is not included in the box. The Note 14 Pro 5G also features a 200MP main camera and offers 45W charging. The base model Note 14 comes with a 108MP main camera and 33W charging.
All three models feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, with the Pro models sporting a 1.5K resolution and the base model a 1080p resolution. The Pro models also offer eSIM support.
The Note 14 Pro+ 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, making it the first phone to feature this new mid-tier chipset. The Note 14 Pro 5G and Note 14 utilize the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra and Helio G99-Ultra, respectively.
POCO X7 Series
The POCO X7 series consists of the X7 Pro and X7. Both models feature a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and IP68 water and dust resistance.
The X7 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra and boasts a 6000mAh battery with 90W charging. The X7 utilizes the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra and has a 5110mAh battery with 45W charging.
Both models come with a 50MP main camera and are available in various colors.
Redmi Watch 5 and Redmi Buds 6
The Redmi Watch 5 features a 2.07-inch AMOLED display, 24-day battery life, and 5ATM water resistance. The Redmi Buds 6 series includes the Buds 6 and Buds 6 Pro, both offering active noise cancellation and long battery life.
Software Updates
Xiaomi has committed to providing at least 5 years of software updates for these new handsets, in line with EU guidelines. This commitment extends to the UK, despite it no longer being part of the EU.
Availability and Pricing
The Redmi Note 14 series, POCO X7 series, Redmi Watch 5, and Redmi Buds 6 will be available starting January 15th, 2025, on mi.com and authorized retailers.
