JBL has unveiled the Tour One M3, its latest premium over-ear headphones, at CES 2025. These noise-canceling headphones feature a unique touchscreen transmitter, the Smart Tx, which allows for wireless audio playback from wired sources like in-flight entertainment systems and analog audio connections.
The Smart Tx offers touchscreen controls for playback, volume adjustment, EQ settings, and Auracast. Auracast technology enables users to broadcast audio to an unlimited number of Auracast-enabled devices, including headphones, earbuds, and speakers.
Enhanced Audio Features
The Tour One M3 boasts 40mm Mica Dome drivers for high-quality audio and supports high-resolution Bluetooth and lossless audio over USB-C. JBL’s Spatial 360 technology with head tracking creates an immersive spatial audio experience.
For personalized sound, the headphones include JBL’s Personi-Fi 3.0 tool, which allows users to adjust the audio based on a hearing test. A 12-band EQ and left/right balance controls provide further customization options.
Advanced Noise Cancellation and Battery Life
The Tour One M3 features True Adaptive Noise Cancelling 2.0 technology, which monitors external sounds and adjusts the audio in real-time. Ambient Aware and TalkThru modes allow users to be aware of their surroundings when needed.
The headphones offer up to 70 hours of battery life on a single charge, with a quick-charge feature providing 5 hours of playback in just 5 minutes. A SmartTalk tool automatically pauses music and activates ambient sound when the headphones detect the user’s voice.
The JBL Tour One M3 will be available on April 13th in Black, Blue, and Mocha for $399.95. Sources and related content
