Valve has announced a new limited edition Steam Deck, featuring a striking white and grey color scheme. This special edition comes with a 1TB OLED screen and an exclusive matching carrying case, adding a touch of style to the popular handheld gaming PC.
This release follows the success of last year’s translucent limited edition Steam Deck, indicating a strong interest in alternative color options for the device. Unlike the previous limited edition, the new white version will be available in all regions where Steam Deck is currently sold.
The internal specifications of the limited edition white Steam Deck remain identical to the standard OLED model. It boasts a powerful AMD APU with Zen 2 CPU and RDNA 2 graphics, 16GB of RAM, a 1TB NVMe SSD, and a vibrant 1280 x 800 HDR OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate.
Valve has expressed its commitment to continually improving the Steam Deck, both in terms of software and hardware. The release of the OLED model and this new limited edition color variant demonstrate this commitment.
The limited edition white Steam Deck is priced at $679 and will be available for purchase starting November 18th at 3pm PST. Due to limited quantities, each customer is restricted to purchasing one unit per Steam account.
