Samsung Gulf Electronics is expanding its Galaxy AI Pioneers (GAIP) program, bringing artificial intelligence education directly to students in the UAE. The program will reach over 4,000 students aged 11-14 across 15 schools in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Building on the success of its pilot program, GAIP aims to equip young learners with essential AI skills and knowledge. The curriculum covers a wide range of topics, from AI and coding fundamentals to machine learning, deep learning, and AI robotics.
The program focuses on three core areas:
- Coding & AI: Building a strong foundation in technical skills.
- Creative Content Development: Utilizing Galaxy AI tools for content creation.
- Digital Safety: Promoting responsible technology use.
Students will gain hands-on experience using Galaxy AI devices and learn how to apply AI in real-world scenarios. The program also includes a specialized online safety course for parents, ensuring a supportive learning environment for students.
This initiative aligns with the UAE Strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2031, which aims to position the nation as a global leader in AI innovation and education. By integrating AI education into the curriculum, Samsung is helping to prepare the next generation of tech-savvy individuals in the UAE.
