Leaks about Samsung’s upcoming Android 15-based One UI 7 skin suggest significant changes, drawing inspiration from iOS 18. A SmartPrix report details a revamped Quick Settings panel with rounded edges, resembling iOS 18, and customizable tile arrangements. The notification panel and Quick Settings dropdowns will be separated, mirroring Xiaomi’s HyperOS and iOS 18.
One UI 7 is also expected to introduce “Continuity notification,” a feature similar to iPhone notification mirroring in macOS Sequoia. It will display video call notifications from your phone on other linked Samsung devices, enabling seamless call transfers.
A leaked video showcases Samsung’s version of Dynamic Island, featuring a pill-shaped stopwatch on the left side of the notification shade, expandable with a long press.
These leaks, courtesy of @chunvn8888, who previously revealed the redesigned Camera app, suggest One UI 7 will be a substantial update with major design overhauls and new features. While some of the UI changes may spark controversy due to their resemblance to iOS, Samsung could unveil the beta program as early as next week, followed by a wider release in late September or October.
