The 2024 Emmy nominations were announced on Wednesday, with “Shogun” and “The Bear” stealing the spotlight.”Shogun,” initially a limited series, was reclassified as a drama after its renewal, leading the nominations with 25 nods,including those for stars Hiroyuki Sanada and Anna Sawai.
“The Bear” season 2 broke records in the comedy category with 23 nominations, surpassing the previous record held by “30 Rock.” The series is in the running for Outstanding Comedy Series, and its cast, including Jeremy Allen White and Ayo Edebiri, received acting nominations.
